Journey into the future<\/strong><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Helios Experience <\/b>is a museum experience\u00a0at <\/span>Portlantis<\/b>, the innovative experience centre by the Port of Rotterdam.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For this project, I had the privilege of creating both the <\/span>spatial and lighting design<\/b> for this immersive journey into the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The experience features a futuristic fa\u00e7ade, a state-of-the-art laboratory, and a cutting-edge prototype of a flying vehicle, giving visitors a glimpse of the future of the Port of Rotterdam. Including automated sliding doors and motion-sensing chairs to spatial audio and dynamic lighting that shifts with the experience. Every element has been carefully designed to transport visitors into a fully immersive flight over the harbor of the future and even take them underwater!<\/span><\/p>\n

The use of real materials like stainless steel, mirrors, felt, and leather makes the experience truly multi-sensory \u2014 not just to see and hear, but also to feel.<\/span><\/p>\n
