For a private residence on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam we designed and built a custom \u00a0made cabinet under a staircase.\u00a0The cabinet is made up of 600 walnut blocks that align perfectly with the steps of the staircase. It features four drawers and two large doors with ample space for coats and bags.\u00a0As a small surprise \u2014 which we hadn\u2019t revealed to the client \u2014 we added a hidden drawer. Invisible to the untrained eye, but when you press the right block, a secret compartment slides open.<\/p>\n
